Arrived in country and was assigned to Riv Section 534 which was alongside YRBM 18 in MY Tho river, Later went on Giant Slingshot on the Vam Co Dong upon completion went back to the My Tho river where I was up graded to patrol officer.  After arriving back in the world I was assigned to the USS Chara AE31 from 6-69 to 4-71, then to the USS Mauna Kea AE22 from 4-71 to 4-72.  Changed my rate from SMC to NCC and was assigned to Navy recruiting station Bremerton, Wa as recruiter in charge until retirement on 9-75 with 21 yrs service.
