Picture at Clarkston was taken in 1973 while conducting a Navy Recruiting Trip with three PBRs from Coastal River Division ELEVEN along the Willamette, Columbia, and Snake Rivers in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.  At that time I was Boat Captain of PBR-723.

The second picture was taken here in Bellingham last summer with PBR-7210 which was delivered to COSRIVDIV XI in early 1973.

I served with COSRIVIDIV XI from December 1972 until August 1976.  I was a PN1 (SNEC-9533 (Combatant Craft Crewman).  My primary duties were as the Admin Chief for the Division.  My secondary duties were as an Instructor and Patrol Officer during operations and deployments.  I was one of the first individuals assigned the SNEC 9533 when BUPERS first authorized it based on non-combat experience.
