Gamewardens of Vietnam National Reunion
Denver, Colorado Reunion 2 August to 6 August 2006

We were over 175 PBR sailors and their wife's who were able to meet old friend's and make new ones. The banner above was from our sponsors (PBR the Beer) and all our members were asked to sign the banner before it was auctioned in support of our Gamewardens projects. The lucky owner now has a great picture of our boat and some of our NW Chapter members and the names of more than 100 PBR sailors to grace their walls forever!!

On our PBR looking aft at a vision of 40 years of PBR Support ---- thank You
Heather Woodruff, Scott Proctor and Pabst Blue Ribbon

Reception and Banquet

At the reception are Glen Fry and his wife Ann. At our Banquet table were three important NW Chapter members Doug Cates. my wife Alice and Jerry Popovice with out all of them supporting the chapter we would not be what we are today.
We had to listen to Commodore Jordan tell of stories about A. Bill Ratt that sounded like stories right out of the book "Stolen Valor" Secret mission to Iraq -- disabling IED's --- special EOD training and it was all done between leaving Larry B's house and arriving at the Denver reunion. Note his son on the left facing away a non believer or just jealous? WELL a Captain wouldn't tell sea stories so he awarded A. Billy a EOD pin and promoted him to 1st class Petty Officer (BM1)--- not bad after 40 years of service?
Here I am again getting in the lime light by having my picture taken with someone important. Maybe I was hoping that Commodore Jordan would promote me like he did the Rat. 22.5 years service and over 12 1/2 of them as an QMCS boy!! Do I need help.
